What we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do about it. Last updated 12 August 2026.

Who we are

OAA Media, ABN 73 543 732 606. We are a two person video and photography business based in North East Victoria. You can reach us at info@oaamedia.com.au or on 0400 757 163.

This policy covers oaamedia.com.au only. It does not cover other people's websites we link to.

What we collect

There are only three ways this site collects anything about you, and all three are things you choose to do.

Enquiry forms. Your first and last name, email address, phone number if you give one, the kind of work you are after, and whatever you write about the project. We use it to reply, to quote, and to do the job.

Newsletter signup. Your email address. Nothing else.

Booking a call. Handled by our scheduling tool. It takes your name, email and the time you pick so the meeting can be set up.

We do not ask for payment details on this website, and there are no accounts to create.

Cookies and tracking

Google Tag Manager. Every page loads Google Tag Manager, which is the tool we use to switch measurement tags on and off without rebuilding the site. Tag Manager itself does not track you, but the tags it loads can, and those tags may set cookies and record which pages you visit and what you click.

Meta Pixel. We use Meta's pixel to see which pages lead to enquiries and to show ads to people who have visited the site. It sets cookies in your browser. You can stop it with an ad blocker or your browser's tracking protection, and you can change what Meta shows you in your Meta ad preferences.

The showreel on the home page is hosted by Vimeo and loaded with Do Not Track switched on, so Vimeo does not set tracking cookies or record your session.

Films on the project pages are hosted by YouTube and loaded through their no cookie domain, so nothing is stored unless you press play.

Fonts load from Google's servers, which means Google can see your IP address when a page loads.

The site also stores one small note in your own browser, remembering that you have already been shown the booking prompt so it does not appear again. It is not personal information and it never leaves your device.

Who else handles your information

We keep the list short on purpose. Enquiry forms are delivered by Formspree. The newsletter runs on a third party email platform. Bookings run through Axira Flow. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which keeps standard server logs including IP addresses. Enquiries land in our Google Workspace inbox. Google also provides Tag Manager and the fonts the site uses. If the Meta Pixel is active, Meta receives page view and enquiry events.

Several of these are based overseas, mostly in the United States. Sending us an enquiry means accepting that it is handled there as well as here.

We do not sell your information, and we do not pass it to anyone else for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

Enquiries and project correspondence are kept for as long as we are working together and afterwards for our own business records. Newsletter subscribers are kept until you unsubscribe.

What you can ask us to do

Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link and it works immediately.

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@oaamedia.com.au and we will come back to you, usually the same day. There is no charge and you do not need to give a reason.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS and we take reasonable steps to protect what we hold. No system is completely secure and we are not going to pretend otherwise.

Children

This site is aimed at businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update this page and change the date at the top. We will not quietly change it and hope nobody notices.

Complaints

Talk to us first, at info@oaamedia.com.au. If we cannot sort it out, you can raise it with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
